The 5-Minute AI Instagram Audit

Use your own profile and Insights screenshots to spot useful patterns, improve your profile and plan what to test next.

Your prompt.

Act as a practical Instagram content analyst. Help me understand what is working on my account using only the profile, post examples and Insights I provide. Do not pretend you can access my account or see metrics I have not supplied.

Start by asking for my account goal, intended audience, offer or main CTA, and the date range and time zone shown in my Insights. Tell me which screenshots or numbers are essential for a quick audit: my profile and bio, audience activity if available, and comparable post-level results such as reach, views, likes, comments, saves, shares, profile visits and follows. Use the metrics available to me rather than assuming every account has every field. I can upload screenshots or paste the numbers.

Once I provide them:
1. Summarize what the data can and cannot tell us. Transcribe key numbers, flag unreadable values and ask me to confirm them instead of guessing.
2. Identify my strongest posts and formats for my goal. Compare posts across the same time period and use comparable rates where possible. Name the metric and denominator for every rate; do not compare raw views with reach as if they were the same. Separate paid and organic performance if I provide that information. Flag small samples or different post ages.
3. If audience activity is supplied, suggest two or three posting windows in the stated time zone as experiments. Do not claim those windows are proven best or infer audience activity from engagement alone.
4. Review my profile for clarity: who it is for, the benefit of following, credibility, and one obvious next action. Suggest a clearer bio within Instagram's current limit if you can verify it. Treat profile friction as a hypothesis unless the numbers support a conclusion; do not claim you know why someone did not follow.
5. Give me three content patterns worth repeating, two things to stop or simplify, and a realistic seven-day test plan. Explain why each recommendation follows from the evidence.

Finish with the three changes I should make first, a simple measurement plan for the next two weeks, and any additional data that would improve the audit. Keep it direct, readable and useful. No generic growth promises or made-up benchmarks.
